JB.LAW Fees for Personal Injury Cases

For Personal Injury Cases Seeking Money Damages

If we take your personal injury case, we work on a contingency fee.

That means you do not pay any attorney’s fees up front. We only get paid if we recover money for you through a settlement or verdict.

We advance the costs needed to build your case, such as ordering medical records, hiring experts, investigators, or accident reconstruction when needed. These costs are explained in writing before you sign anything and are normally reimbursed from the recovery at the end of the case.

One of the main lessons I learned from the lawyer who taught me personal injury work is simple: at the end of the case, the client should receive more than the lawyer. That is the standard we use when we talk with you about fees.

Case Costs and How Contingency Fees Work

Every case is different, and we will talk through the fee in your free consultation before you decide to hire us.

In most personal injury cases, our fee is a percentage of the total recovery. If there is no recovery, you do not owe us any attorney’s fee.

Court costs and case expenses are separate from the fee. We explain those in plain language, answer your questions, and put everything in writing so there are no surprises later.

For Clients Needing Limited or Consultation-Only Help

Some people do not need full representation in a lawsuit but still want legal guidance. For those situations, we may be able to help on a limited-scope basis.

Examples can include reviewing settlement documents, giving a second opinion, or helping you understand your options after an injury.

These matters are usually handled for a flat fee that we quote up front after a free consultation, so you know the cost before you decide how to proceed.
